How to Scan Documents With Your iPhone Notes App
Your iPhone is a proper document scanner. No app download needed, and scans sync to your Mac and iPad automatically.
Open Notes and start a new note. Tap the attachment (paperclip or plus) icon and choose Scan Documents. Point the camera at the page: the iPhone finds the edges, straightens the document and snaps automatically when it is steady. You can scan several pages into one document.
After scanning, tap the document to adjust corners, switch between color, grayscale and black-and-white filters, and sign it with Markup if needed. Save, and the scan is a clean PDF attached to your note.

Two tips for pro results: scan on a contrasting background in good light, and use the flashlight only if the room is dark, since glare ruins text. For sharing, long-press the note and send a copy as PDF to any app.
